It reveals that high strength and electrical conductivity of 6063 aluminum alloy can be obtained simultaneously by ECAP processing in TST condition because of ultrafine-grained microstructure and nanosized precipitates.Various cosmetics having a single function are increasingly being used, but cosmetics having multifunctional activities remain limited. We aimed to develop a multifunctional cosmetic cream having antioxidant, anti-tyrosinase, anti-aging and antimicrobial activities. Antimicrobial activities were performed by disc-diffusion method. Cell toxicity and cell proliferations were evaluated in a 96-well plate with different cell lines such as HaCaT, RAW264.7, CCD-986Sk, B16F1, and B16F10. Mushroom tyrosinase inhibition, elastase inhibition, and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activities were evaluated and IC50 was calculated. Mesoporous silica particle was synthesized using Pluronic P123 and tetraethyl ortho-silicate (TEOS). Facial pictures were captured by VISIA-CR (Facial Imaging System for Clinical Research). Roughness of image was analysed by PRIMOS software and brightness of image was analyzed by Chromameter CR-400. The crude product of strain T65 inhibited the different human pathogenic ntioxidant, anti-aging, and whitening activities with non-cytotoxic effects to different cell lines related to the human skin.Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), which is defined as two pregnancy losses that occur before 20 weeks of gestation, is relatively common, occurring in approximately 1-5% of women. The underlying cause is often unclear, although numerous factors may contribute to RPL, including environmental and immunological factors, blood coagulation disorders, and genetics. In particular, single nucleotide variants have been associated with RPL, including those found in microRNAs (miRNAs). We investigated the association between four miRNA polymorphisms, miR-25T>C, miR-32C>A, miR-125aC>T, and miR-222G>T, and RPL in a cohort consisting of 361 RPL patients and 272 controls. Subjects were genotyped at miRNA loci by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis, and genotype frequencies were calculated. We then performed allele and genotype combination analyses and measured the association between miRNA polymorphisms and clinical variables in both RPL patients and controls. We detected a statistically significant association between RPL and the miR-25T/miR-32C/miR-125aT/miR-222T allele combination (adjusted odds ratio (AOR), 4.361; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.496-12.72; P=0.003). Three-gene combinations, including miR-32C/miR-125aT/miR-222T (AOR, 3.085; 95% CI, 1.254-7.588; P=0.010) and miR-25T/miR-125aT/miR-222T (AOR, 2.929; 95% CI, 1.183-7.257; P=0.015), and the two-gene combination miR-125aT/miR-222T (AOR, 2.417; 95% CI, 1.084-5.386; P=0.026) were also associated with RPL. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that platelet counts and blood urea nitrogen levels were significantly different in RPL patients expressing different miR-125aC>T and miR-25T>C genotypes, respectively (PA. We investigated miRNAs (miR-25, miR-32, miR-125a, miR-222) in RPL patients and healthy controls. Significantly different allele frequencies were detected by ANOVA. We suggest that miRNAs and clinical factors can impact RPL occurrence.Recently, much interest has been focused on Moringa oleifera L., a highly versatile and sustainable plant. In addition to its nutritional properties, numerous bioactive compounds have been identified in M. oleifera leaves, for which healthy properties have been reported. In the present research, the impact of ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) on the recovery of the bioactive compounds from leaves was investigated. Firstly, an experimental design approach has been used to highlight the influence of some extraction parameters (solvent, solvent/dry leaves ratio, temperature, time) on phenol compound recovery and antioxidant activity. Solvent composition was the most influential factor; in fact, the presence of water in the solvent (5050, v/v) corresponded to an increase in the extraction performance. The liquid/solid ratio (L/S) also influenced the extraction process; in fact, the total phenol content reached 13.4 mg gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g dry matter (DM) in the following UAE conditions 50% water, 601 L/S ratio, 60 °C, 60 min. In order to quantify flavonols, hydroalcoholic extracts were analysed by HPLC-DAD (high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector). In the flavonol class, the glycosidic forms of quercetin and kaempferol were mainly detected. Their content ranged from 216.4 µg/g DM of quercetin 3-O-rhamnoside to 293.9 µg/g DM of quercetin 3-O-(6″-O-malonyl)-β-D-glucoside. Dihydromyricetin ic50 In summary, the leaves of M. oleifera are a potential natural source of bioactive compounds, proving to be very promising for the development of health-promoting food supplements. In the last decade, Flaviviruses such as yellow fever (YFV) and Zika (ZIKV) have expanded their transmission areas. These viruses originated in Africa, where they exhibit both sylvatic and interhuman transmission cycles. In Brazil, the risk of YFV urbanization has grown, with the sylvatic transmission approaching the most densely populated metropolis, while concern about ZIKV spillback to a sylvatic cycle has risen. To investigate these health threats, we carried out extensive collections and arbovirus screening of 144 free-living, non-human primates (NHPs) and 5219 mosquitoes before, during, and after ZIKV and YFV outbreaks (2015-2018) in southeast Brazil. ZIKV infection was not detected in any NHP collected at any time. In contrast, current and previous YFV infections were detected in NHPs sampled between 2017 and 2018, but not before the onset of the YFV outbreak. Mosquito pools screened by high-throughput PCR were positive for YFV when captured in the wild and during the YFV outbreak, but were negative for 94 other arboviruses, including ZIKV, regardless of the time of collection. In conclusion, there was no evidence of YFV transmission in coastal southeast Brazil before the current outbreak, nor the spread or establishment of an independent sylvatic cycle of ZIKV or urban Aedes aegypti transmission of YFV in the region. In view of the region’s receptivity and vulnerability to arbovirus transmission, surveillance of NHPs and mosquitoes should be strengthened and continuous.
