With the launch of Microsoft’s latest Xbox One X gamers got an update on the latest Minecraft news – primarily that Minecraft is now accessible on any device.
As part of Microsoft’s big event at E3 Microsoft discussed the latest Minecraft update.
The “Better Together Update”, which unifies console, mobile, and Windows 10 versions of the game, is known as the “Better Together Update”.
The latest update also includes more graphics and cross-platform compatibility to let Windows 10 and mobile Minecraft players play together.
Minecraft will no longer use any branding that is associated with Minecraft for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or mobile games. Instead they’ll all be called “Minecraft”. There’s a “Minecraft: Java Edition’, which is the original PC game (still supported).

These devices are able to support unified gaming play:
– Windows 10 – iOS – Android – XBox One – Nintendo’s Switch
If you own Minecraft for VR or mobile, they’ll get an update for the summer. The Minecraft owners of Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will receive a free update, and all the existing worlds created by gamers will be accessible on the game’s new version.
All downloaded content will be accessible on all devices thanks to the new update. A pack purchased on mobile will also work on Xbox and Windows 10 editions.
As an additional added perk, Minecraft is throwing in a server browser to its latest update. Launching with four servers, Lifeboat, Mineplex, InPVP and Cubecraft – which lets players join servers with monthly users that number in the millions, according to the company. MINECRAFT SERVERS
