Family is the most important social institution since birth with which the person has been in direct contact. Family relationships with children play a major role in both the tendency toward substance addiction and the withdrawal of drugs. The present study aimed to examine the form of family interactions with Iranian women with substance use disorder. The method of this research was grounded theory, the sample was 20 women who were referred to Behboud Gostaran Hamgam Women’s Addiction Withdrawal Camp in Tehran, in 2018-19 who were selected by theoretical sampling. Five themes of condemning-restrictive family, passive-accepting family, rejecting family, indifferent family, and disoriented family were discovered. CRT0066101 research buy The study also resulted in four key periods of time that define the form of family relationships with women with SUD, namely before becoming aware of addiction, after becoming aware of addiction, after being aware of the first relapse, and after being aware of successive relapses. Finally, during these four time periods, three family interactive models were established for women with SUD 1) The interactive model of Non-change, 2) The model of adopting a disoriented interactive pattern after changing dysfunctional interactive patterns, 3) The model of returning to the initial interactive pattern after changing the dysfunctional interactive patterns. The relapse is prevented, and the level of efficiency of family and members in the recovery process will be improving by identifying, recognizing, and training the interactive family model with women with SUD.
The purpose of the study was to describe measurements of stimulus-response curves in the anterior digastric muscle (ADM) bilaterally following transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to the right and left hemispheres. The first dorsal interosseous muscle (FDI) was the control muscle.
The subjects were 20 healthy young adults. Test sessions determined motor thresholds (MT) and stimulus-response curves (1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 × MT) from either the FDI or ADM following TMS to left and right hemispheres using the double cone coil. Bilateral recordings of MEPs in the left and right ADM allowed us to generate stimulus response curves following ipsilateral and contralateral TMS.
Intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for MEP amplitudes from ipsilateral and contralateral ADMs were >0.60 at motor threshold (MT) and >0.90 at stimulus intensities above MT. There was a linear increase in MEP amplitudes across stimulus intensities for the FDI following contralateral TMS, while MEP amplitudes from the ADM following contralateral and ipsilateral TMS increased linearly across stimulus intensities [

< 0.05).
The current study provided insights on the methodology for recording stimulus response curves in the ADM with TMS. These findings may translate into a valid, reliable, and relevant clinical outcome to study the pathophysiology of the corticobulbar motor system.

Ketoconazole (KZ), a broad-spectrum antifungal drug, is a lipophilic compound and practically insoluble in water. Since topical ophthalmic drug delivery confronts low bioavailability, an in situ gel formulation is designed to improve the residence time and consequently the bioavailability. Safety of the developed formulation as a carrier for ophthalmic drug delivery was measured using three different methods MTT assay for measuring cell viability in which the human retinal pigmentation epithelial cells (RPE) were used, HET-CAM as a borderline method between in vivo and in vitro techniques for investigating the irritation potential of the chosen formulation which was done by adding formulation directly on the CAM surface and visually monitoring the vessels in terms of irritation reactions, and finally the modified Draize test for evaluating tolerability of the selected formulation on eyes. According to our results from the MTT test, cell viability for KZ-NE in situ gel formulation at 0.1% concentration was acceptable. The results obtained from the HET-CAM investigation didn’t show any sign of vessel injury on the CAM surface for prepared formulation. Additionally, during 24 hours, the developed formulation was tolerable by rabbit eyes. Regarding our results, KZ-NE in situ gel formulation was non-irritant and non-toxic and can be well-tolerated and presented as an applicable vehicle for ophthalmic delivery of the anti-fungal drug. Background Cannabis use rates are rising among college students, creating a need for effective and accessible intervention options. One such intervention, the Marijuana eCHECKUP TO GO (eCTG) program, has relatively few studies investigating mechanisms of change and related outcomes. This intervention provides users with personalized normative feedback to adjust user’s normative perceptions and use patterns. The current study tested moderated mediation of program effects between the eCTG intervention condition and a healthy stress management (HSM) control condition in a college student sample of near-daily cannabis users. Protective behavioral strategies (PBS) were measured among the eCTG conditionMethods Data were analyzed from a sample of 227 students who were randomly assigned to the eCTG intervention condition or HSM control condition. Change in cannabis use frequency was measured by re-administering the baseline survey at a six-week follow-up. Multi-group moderated mediation path analysis tested the effects of the eCTG intervention on change in cannabis use frequency through PBS, descriptive norms, and injunctive norms, with multi-group categories defined by sex.
