The purpose of this research is to develop and test the prototype is called the electronic Pressure Injury Alarm. This study was a Software Development Life Cycle, using User Acceptance Testing. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument on 10 nurses as research respondents. The result was the prototype to which 89.4% of respondents expressed satisfaction. Some of the weaknesses obtained included instability of alarms and inadequate internet access. Electronic Pressure Injury Alarm is a prototype that is used as an early detection tool in implementing the prevention of pressure injuries in hospitals. This study will contribute to improved quality in the provision of nursing care to patients, provision of an overview of the positive contribution of technological developments to improve the quality of care and nursing care.HIV/AIDS remains a chronic disease that is ubiquitous in the community. People with HIV/AIDS can experience psychological problems because of the influence of internal and external stress. This study aimed to determine the relationship of psychological discomforts of stress, depression, and anxiety to sleep quality in HIV/AIDS patients. This study employed a descriptive-correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach and consecutive sampling technique. TGF-beta cancer The Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index were used as research instruments on 110 respondents. This study found that there was a significant relationship between psychological discomforts of stress, depression, and anxiety and sleep quality in patients with HIV/AIDS (p less then α=0.05). The results of this study indicate the importance of health services, especially those of HIV/AIDS polyclinics, to be more concerned with the psychological discomfort experienced by patients to improve the sleep quality of patients with HIV/AIDS.This research aims to analyze the relationship between diabetic foot ulcers profile and ankle brachial index (ABI) score. This quantitative research employed descriptive design with cross sectional method. 76 patients with diabetic foot ulcers were recruited purposively at three hospitals in Malang, Indonesia. The data collection includes patient characteristics; measurement of ABI score with foot Doppler device; measurements of granulation, necrosis, fibrin, and wound with the MowA. Data were analyzed using Pearson and Spearman correlation tests. Correlation test results show that ABI scores were significantly associated with granulation (p=0.015; r=0.278), necrosis (p=0.000; r=-0.516), fibrin (p=0.036; r=0.240) and the extent of diabetic foot ulcers (p=0.025; r=0.258). Necrosis has a strong relationship with ABI scores among all profiles of diabetic foot ulcers. Negative direction means that increasing ABI scores will reduce necrosis tissue in diabetic foot ulcers.Knowledge of earthquake disaster mitigation is part of the preparedness efforts that all communities need, including students of vocational health The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of mitigation and attitudes toward disaster preparedness for students in Jakarta. The design of this study was cross-sectional study design with a sample size of 107 regular students from four departments at the Jakarta Ministry of Health Polytechnic I. The average age of the study sample was 19.94 years and most of them were women, who had never attended lecture material and seminars/training related to disasters. This research showed that there was a meaningful relationship between knowledge of mitigation and preparedness in facing earthquake (p=0.01; α=0.05). The results of this study recommend the importance of instilling awareness of mitigation to improve earthquake preparedness.Patient satisfaction is an indicator of the quality of nursing services in M and P Hospitals had not reached the standard communication skill andsatisfaction with case management services. The aim is to analyze the correlation between the communication skills and patient satisfaction. This cross-sectional study from110 patients who recognized nurse case manager and obtained patient service management. It used correlation test and multiple logistic regression analysis. The instrument was modified from Korean-PSCCM and CMQQ. There was a significant relationship between communication skills and patient satisfaction (p less then 0.001, α less then 0.05). The communication skills were good in all except for the informative and satisfied so good except for efficiency. Communication skillsare the most influencing factor (OR 9.64). Good communication skills are likely to increase satisfaction. Recomendation Hospital management needs to improve patient satisfaction by improving communication skills. This study aim is to explore the experience of nurses in interacting with the infection prevention and control nurse (IPCN). This study was conducted on 11 participants who had interacted with the IPCN. In-depth interviews were conducted in 30-60min with participants from different hospital’s service units. Audio-recorded interviews were then made into transcripts and thematically analyzed by data triangulation, peer-reviewed, and supervised by qualitative research sources. There were seven themes found in this study show what the nurse feels, effectiveness, and expectation to the IPCN. This study recommends optimizing the nurses’ understanding of the IPCN’s role by involving management and optimizing the role of the IPCN in the implementation of nursing care through formal education in infection specialist nursing so that the presence of the IPCN is increasingly felt by nurses.Cancer and the effects of treatment can cause various effects on daily life and affect the quality of life of patients. This study aims to identify relationship between individual and disease characteristics and quality of life of cancer patients. The design of this study is a cross-sectional obtained through the consecutive sampling technique involving 110 cancer patients at one of the hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. The instrument used was the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General (FACT-G). This study concluded that there was a significant relationship between age, education level, employment status, income status, cancer stage and pain with quality of life (p less then α=0.05). The results of this study show that the higher the cancer stage, the lower the patient’s quality of life. Therefore, this study indicates the importance of early detection of cancer to improve the quality of life in cancer patients.
