This paper provides the data collected from screening chromatographic resins for their ability to bind and purify recombinant human thioredoxin from Escherichia coli lysate. This data was used by “Capture chromatography with mixed-mode resins A case study with recombinant human thioredoxin from Escherichia coli” [1] to determine the optimal resin to use as a capture step to initiate downstream processing of thioredoxin. Five chromatography resins were screened using a 96-well filter plate to experiment on a wide range of pH and conductivity conditions in a shorter amount of time while saving on materials. Thioredoxin-producing E. AL3818 solubility dmso coli was cultivated, harvested, and lysed according to Ravi et al [1]. Thioredoxin containing lysate was dialyzed into the binding conditions, pH from 5.0 to 9.0 and conductivity from 2.0 to 10.0 mS, applied to each resin and incubated with shaking for 0.5 h. Data gathered after the incubation period consisted of host cell protein and thioredoxin concentrations remaining in the supernatant, which was considered flowthrough for the remainder of this study. Samples containing high concentrations of thioredoxin after the experimental period indicate that thioredoxin did not bind to the resin at those conditions and should not be utilized as a capture step. Additionally, samples that contain low concentrations of host-cell proteins after the experimental period indicate large amounts of host-cell proteins bound to the resin. The corresponding conditions may not contribute to higher purity. Operating all screening experiments at small volumes allows for selecting optimal binding conditions while minimizing the burden on upfront biomass production.Apocynum venetum, which belongs to Apocynaceae, is widely distributed throughout salt-barren zones, desert steppes, and alluvial flats of the Mediterranean area and Northwestern China. Apocynum venetum has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine because of its anti-inflammation, anti-oxidative, anti-hypertensive, anti-cancer, and bactericidal effects. However, the absence of genetic information on Apocynum venetum is an obstacle to understanding its stress resistance or medicinal function. This work was aimed at generating a full-length transcriptome of Apocynum venetum using Pacific Bioscience (PacBio) Single Molecule Real-Time (SMRT) sequencing technology. A total of 18,524 unigenes were obtained, and 18,136 unigenes were successfully annotated. The raw data were uploaded to SRA database, and the BioProject ID is PRJNA650225. The above data will provide the basis for further exploration and understanding of the molecular mechanism in stress resistance or medicinal function of Apocynum venetum. This data includes the geographical data, the Life Cycle Inventory data and Life Cycle Assessment data of the implementation of end-of-life (EoL) reverse osmosis (RO) direct recycling implementation at full scale in a Spanish region. Besides, the data allows the comparison of the environmental profile between recycled membrane products with the commercial counterparts. The EoL-RO stock potential was analysed constrained to the Segura´s watershed. However, the distribution of recycled membranes was considered within the European Union´s borders. The International Life Cycle Data system (ILCD) midpoint impact categories and the indicator Service Life Ratio (SLR) are presented. This data could be used for deepening analyses as the externalities monetarisation or business model identification or policymakers This data article is related to J. Senán-Salinas, A. Blanco, R. A total of 100 samples (copper or chromium) were processed into uniform pressed pellet. The mulberry leaf pellet was placed on a sample platform of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) system. A laser was used to ablate the sample pellet and generate the emission lines, the intensity and delay time of laser ablation were 80 mJ and 4 μs respectively. To reduce the acquisition errors, 16 different positions of each sample were ablated for 5 accumulation. Then, 80 spectra were collected per sample and the average of them was considered as the sample spectrum for subsequent analysis. Finally, a total of 200 spectra of copper and chromium in mulberry leaves with a wavelength range of 219-877 nm were obtained for calibration analysis [1].Advancement of technology and device miniaturization have made near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) techniques cost-effective, small-sized, simple, and ready to use. We applied NIRS to analyze healthy human muscles in vivo, and we found that this technique produces reliable and reproducible spectral “fingerprints” of individual muscles, that can be successfully discriminated by chemometric predictive models. The dataset presented in this descriptor contains the reflectance spectra acquired in vivo from the ventral and dorsal aspects of the arm using an ASD FieldSpec® 4 Standard-Res field portable spectroradiometer (350-2500 nm), the values of the anthropometric variables measured in each subject, and the codes to assist access to the spectral data. The dataset can be used as a reference set of spectral signatures of “biceps” and “triceps” and for the development of automated methods of muscle detection.Rhizoma Polygonati (Chinese name as , pinyin as huangjing), as medicine and food homology of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been recently applied for the complex prescriptions of alternative medicine for treatment of COVID-19 but the mechanisms are largely unclear. Here using public database search and filtering the potential chemical compound based drug targets with COVID-19 targets mapped, the list of data were provided and suggested pharmacokinetic tolerating dose of selected natural compounds were further collected from database. The data provided is the supplementary as a reference showing the intersections of Rhizoma Polygonati druggable targets of lists from current database and potentially related ones targeting COVID-19.
