    To describe the methodological and operational aspects of an epidemiological and an evaluation of Rede Cegonha in Santa Catarina, Brazil.

    The research carried out in 2019 was composed of two sub-studies. Regarding the first, whose design was epidemiological and analyzed prenatal, delivery and immediate puerperium care addressed to pregnant women, puerperal women and children assisted at SUS, the instruments used for data collection and the organization of the field of the study are described. The other sub-study was a normative assessment of municipal management in prenatal and postpartum care within the scope of Rede Cegonha. It began with an evaluability assessment followed by the assessment itself. The different methodological strategies adopted are described, with the involvement of stakeholders and experts.

    The response rate of the epidemiological sub-study was 97.7%. Women residing in 82.7% of Santa Catarina’s municipalities were interviewed. The sample was similar to that registered in SINASC for the same period, and the characteristics of the sub-sample interviewed after six months was similar to the global sample. The evaluation study improved and applied a model with 32 indicators that allowed to analyze the municipalities considering the political-organizational and tactical-operational aspects. Two hundred and four municipalities answered the questionnaire (69.1%); they were evaluated according to their respective population size.

Drilling holes is especially a time consuming operation. The aim of this study is to examine and analyze drilling operation and its duration in underground ore and dead rock. Drillability experiments are carried out on samples taken from the field. In core sampling two different types of core samples are taken whether it is parallel or perpendicular to ore bedding and dead rock. Results of drillability experiments are compared between the two types of core samples. DRI values are found to be 51 and 47 for the parallel and perpendicular core samples to ore bedding, respectively. DRI values for the parallel and perpendicular core samples to dead rock bedding are found to be 57 and 55 for the, respectively. In addition, graphs of drilling speed and drilling depth belonging to ore and dead rock are analyzed. It is examined that drilling speed increases steadily to maximum point in the first 5sec. and stays stable after that point. Therefore, it is concluded that production galleries and holes which are formed parallel to bedding would increase production efficiency.Age delimitation integrated with aeromagnetometric and aerogammaspectrometric survey advances the understanding of ophiolite evolution in the Brasiliano Orogen. We focused on the Bossoroca ophiolite, because oceanic crustal and mantle rocks contain zircon in metasomatic chloritite. A metadiorite and a metavolcanoclastic rock were also studied to delimit relationship between ophiolite and island-arc infrastructure and superstructure. Zircon crystals were dated by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy. Ages of zircon from Campestre metavolcanoclastic rock are 920-840 (peak 842) Ma, Bossoroca chloritite 900-800 (peak 868 Ma) and Capivaras metadiorite 698 Ma. Ages 920-800 Ma correspond to processes in the oceanic crust, whereas 698 Ma was a late magmatic intrusion (Capivaras metadiorite) into the island-arc infrastructure. Aeromagnetometric and aerogammaspectrometric data delimit the occurrence and structure of the ophiolite. These are major multiproxy markers of geotectonic processes early in the Brasiliano Orogen.The Patagonian blenny (Eleginops maclovinus) is species endemic to South America with physiological characteristics that would facilitate its incorporation into Chilean aquaculture. However, there is currently no specific artificial food that can be used to raise E. maclovinus. In light of this problem, this study describes the proximal composition and fatty acid profile of the crab Hemigrapsus crenulatus, one of the main foods of E. maclovinus. The purpose of the study is to serve as basic information for the development of a specific artificial diet for juveniles of this fish species. The proximal analysis of the complete body of H. crenulatus indicates that it is mainly composed of ash (35.9%), proteins (32.2%), glucides (19.8%) and minor lipids (3.6%). The fatty acid profile is 40.7% PUFAs, 29.7% MUFAs and 29.5% SAFAs, and the most abundant acids are Eicosapentaenoic (18.8%), Oleic (6.8%) and Palmitic (16.6%), respectively. H. crenulatus has highest level of proteins, lipids and PUFAs among the species of the Brachyura infraorder.Six different bread wheat genotypes; two Egyptian commercial varieties (control); Giza-168 and Gemmeiza-11, and four promising lines; L84 and L148, resulted via hybridization and M10 and M34 via radiation mutation program) were rheologically evaluated using extensograph and for protein, analysis using sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The radiation mutant M10 and M34 had the highest maximum resistance which is a very good indicator of strong gluten. The amount of gluten content was higher in M10, L148, and M34 compared to the control samples Gz168 and Gm11. Sulfide amino acids (CYS and MET) are slightly higher in M10. Radiation mutants wheat genotypes have a protein with good characteristics, mainly gluten which is significantly higher compared to control samples. The rheological properties measured as extensograph and gel electrophoresis were much better in irradiated lines M10 and M34.
