    The Vietnamese Truc Chi Art is an ancient form of paper art that originated in the Red River Delta. In Vietnamese, Truc Chi means bamboo paper, which is made from bamboo bark and created into intricate designs.

    Art of the Truc Chi consists of delicate, intricate designs of animals, landscapes, and cultural symbols. Tranh Trúc Chỉ is made by soaking, cooking, washing, and pounding bamboo fibers into a fine, durable paper that can be cut and shaped into intricate designs.

    It is estimated that the art of Truc Chi has over 1000 years of history in Vietnam. Writing and printing were also accomplished using it, and it was commonly used as window coverings and lanterns.

    Vietnam and around the world have become overjoyed with Truc Chi art over the past few years. Using ancient techniques and modern design, Truc Chi artists are creating stunning works of art today.
